I am a human being just like you. I breathe, I eat, I talk, I do everything a human being should do. But there’s a difference between me and you. I’m my own person. I have my own opinions. I have my own rights. I have my own freedom. And I’m allowed to be who I want to be. Who are you to judge the person that I am? Who are you to judge my lifestyle, my choices, my morals? Who are you to judge me by the way I look, the way I dress, the way I act? What makes you think that you are the bigger person by degrading me? By belittling me? By telling me I am nothing, when I deserve to be something? Bullying is wrong. It always has been wrong, and it always will be. If you want to make this world a better place for all of us, you need to take a stand. You need to the bigger, better person in all of this. Don’t judge somebody by the way they talk, by the way they walk, by the way they live. They are a human. They deserve to walk on this earth just as much as you do. Love your fellow people. Don’t hate on them for what they aren’t and never will be. Show a little bit of love, and you will get the same amount back. Show a little bit of respect, and you will get respect in return. Show the world that you are not afraid to be who you are. Show the world that you are not like everyone else. Show the world that you are a somebody even if you are gay, overweight, or disabled. You are a somebody to me and the rest of the world…and you always will be.
