Hello There! I’m Gabriella and this is Bubblegum Universe.

I’m a book content creator residing in Southwest Ohio with my husband and our two cats; Geronimo, and Leia. I thoroughly enjoy murder mysteries, horror films, video games and photography.

I’ve been online in some capacity since 2009. I love having a place to share my opinion, recommend good books, and fangirl about pop culture. One of my favorite things to do is interview people, A Chat With as it gives me the opportunity to meet people I otherwise wouldn’t.

My love of reading is only rivaled by my love of film. I actually started this blog with my thoughts on films I’d seen the week before. I’m pretty open to films, silent, black and white, and foreign. I run a horror podcast called Bubblegum Horror, where I chat about horror films and novels. A few favorites are Scream (’94), Halloween (78), and Veronica Mars (’14).

I love video games. I’ve been playing with my father and family since the Sega Saturn. I stream, vlog, and write about video games as well. Currently playing on the Switch OLED, New 3DSXL, PC, and PS5. I prefer puzzle, role-playing, and arcade fighters. A few favorites are Kirby, Pokémon, Professor Layton, and King of Fighters. I competed in EVO ’23 as Labete, and I look forward to playing more AFGs on a competitive level.
