Dude asked me what my background was at work today. I said I was half puerto rican and half black. And he goes “ahhh puerto rican, that is why you’re so beautiful”. Literally the same fucking was said to me at my old job. Like sure just completely dismiss the fact that I’m black, and that I’m only attractive to you because I said I was puerto rican. Apparently only half of me gets credit for me being beautiful. Fuck outta my face. And they always get that weird look for a split second when I say I’m black. Like I tainted their image of me. Fuck anyone who says/thinks shit like that honestly.
