Welcome to another edition of Moriartie is an absolute nerd! Thanks to G from Book Roast, myself and countless other hopeless Harry Potter book nerds get the opportunity to participate in the proficiency test, O.W.L.S. Just use this youtube Video, to get the links for the guidebook, and prompts.

If you aren’t sure what the Owls are, you poor dear… You choose your career from the magical guidebook. That page has the classes you need to take, and then from the prompts page, you just follow along.

For instance, if Harry Potter was real, I would absolutely be a Mage of Visual Arts, because I love Photography, they are the witches and wizards that animate the photos for the Daily Prophet, Don’tcha know. For this career, I am required to take History of Magic, Charms, Divination and Astronomy.

The Prompts for me are as follows:

Astronomy: Night Class; Read the majority of a novel at night.

Charms: Lumos Maxima; Book with a White Cover

Divination: 3rd Eye; Assign Numbers to your TBR, use a random Number generator, to decide which book to read.

History Of Magic: Witch Hunts; Read A novel with Witches and Wizards

I found this about a week late, so I just used one of the books I was already reading for Astronomy, I needed the cheat. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, I highly suggest joining the Magical Twitter and Discord, the others in the readathon are the best! I haven’t had comradery like this since High School, its so nice with whats going on in the world right now.

I also added a few more books, just to round out the month of April. I finished one of those today, so look forward to the April Wrapup to find out what I thought!
