Hey There!

It’s now week three and I’ve completed a novel and making my way through a few others. The novel I completed was Ricochet by Jessica Anderson, which is the first novel in the Bear Claw Creek Crime Lab Series.
Its considered romantic suspense, and is part of the Intrigue novels. I actually filmed a video talking about what I did and did not like about the novel.

I’ve moved on to chapter 6 in A Study in Brimstone, which I am loving so far! It has a lot of comedy in it, which I didn’t know before I started it, and I find myself laughing out loud often! We’ve fully met our cast of characters and the story has really started to pick up, we even have our first dead body!

I’m currently on chapter 28 in Tightrope and it is really picking up! We’ve got more dead bodies, clues are starting to fall into place AND we’ve made some headway on the attraction between our love interests, I’m all for it!

I also started Night Hunt, and I think the Necromancers powers are pretty cool, but the story hasn’t really captured me yet, but I am only on chapter 2, so plenty of room for growth.
