Hey Gang!
The readathon is really gearing up and the time is going by fast, the 3rd week is practically over and I still have three more books to finish in order to pass my owls!
I’m on the last 1/3rd of A study in brimstone by G.S. Dennings. I thought it was a complete mystery story, but it appears to be more of a gathering of different stories with the same characters in the same timeline. A few of them lost my interest but over all, they haven’t been too bad.
I have four more cases to read, which amounts to about 158 pages left to read. So when I began my readathon, I put together 7 books that I wanted to read, which accumulated to 2,304 pages. Now, keeping in mind that I started the readathon a week behind, on the 7th. I’m doing pretty good in the fact that I have read 1,010 of those pages! I’m practically halfway done!!!
I’ve only two more chapters in my audiobook for Artemis Fowl, and I’m ready for some more fantasy, so I’ll be starting a darker shade of magic over the weekend. I remember starting this book on audio, and getting decently far, so I may be able to skip forward a few chapters which will help me there as well.
With nearing the final week in April, I’m excited to see what I will and wont be able to complete this month. Are you almost finished with your owls? What are you looking forward to reading in May, since its around the corner.
