Hey Gang!
You’d think I’d have learned my lesson from my April TBR and to stop trying to be so zealous, alas, it just isn’t so. I have a lot of books that I want to get through in the month of May and I just don’t seem to learn from these mistakes, so lets just move on.
I’ll be participating in Asian Readathon, as well, as a Fowlreadathon for myself, and I want to round out my list with some smut, just to give it some balance. Asian Readathon is put on by Read With Cindy, to bring more awareness to awesome Asian novels and Asian writers, this one does have prompts and goes from May 1st to May 15th, but the prompt I’ll be filling is, 2.) Read a book featuring an Asian character or written by an Asian author who you can relate to.
Fowlathon, is a mini book marathon I’ve put together for myself, because on the 25th, Artemis Fowl was supposed to be released and I wanted to finish the series before the movie came out. The series has 6 books, and I finished a few of them when I was younger, but I don’t really remember anything, so I wanted to get the whole story again!
The Novels
Soul of the Sword by Julie Kagawa
The Girl Who Knew Too Much by Amanda Quick
Blindsighted by Karin Slaughter
Everything for her by Alexa Riley
His Alone by Alexa Riley
The Arctic Incident by Eoin Colfer
One book less than last month, and a hell of a lot less pages, see, I have learned my lesson. I’ll have full summaries on the youtube video coming on Monday!
Did you finish your owls? I totally skipped Charms, the book just wasn’t catching my attention, and I didn’t even start History of Magic, I wonder if I would skip these classes if I was actually a student. I am a Slytherin, perhaps I’d get the quiz answers from another student, I feel like that would be possible in Hogwarts. I normally would never cheat, but desperate times call for desperate measures. (JK. I’m way too scared of Mcgonagall.)
