Hey Gang!
January had just started, and because Dianna is always using her BH Cosmetics during our Art Goes Boom Makeup looks, when I saw they were having a clearance, I was like why not? I went through everything they had on Clearance, which was quite a bit and I wound up ordering 7 items. 3 matte lipsticks, eyeliner, and 3 eye shadow palettes. I placed my order on the 3rd, and they did state that shipping was going to be longer than normal but that’s literally what every company says, so I didn’t pay it any mind. I wish I had. But the clearance was so worth it, All together I spent 52$, which is like NOTHING.
They charged me that day but all I had received was a We got your order email but nothing about shipping. I did not receive a shipping email from them until the 26th! And then at that point they stated 5 of my items were arriving, and that they would send along the rest in another shipment, today on the 28th, I received a refund, and email saying that they oversold the last two palettes, that I was waiting on. While the shipping definitely wasn’t great, the products are amazing! With the refund, I really only spent $25 for 5 makeup items! Can’t go wrong.
The three lipsticks go on SUPER smooth, and dry matte and are super stay proof. I swatched and went about my life, and it literally stayed for like 1 day and a half before even smearing! I’m loving that kind of staying power. Of the items that did arrive, they were super pigmented, and I’m looking forward to doing many a look with them!
I shot an unboxing video because I’m trying to be better about creating content and took a bunch of swatch photos! I do like that it came in cardboard and paper, there was no plastic to speak of, so its pretty sustainable and green friendly packaging. Always great to not feel guilty about killing the planet while you shop.
I’ll be moved into our new HOME by the middle of February and I am so flipping excited! My head is spinning with all of the ideas I can implement. I can’t wait to set up my new filming area and I plan to have a more sustainable plan for creating content! I really want to focus on my photography and my content this year.
