Hi Gang!

Welcome back to another Pokemon Week! Can you believe that Pokemon is going to be 25 years old on Saturday?! If this is your first pokemon Week don’t worry it’s just a fun celebration of everything pokemon. Due to Covid, I’m unable to review the latest film, but I will be instead setting up cosplays for the entire week! Similar to Cosplay Wednesdays, every weekday this week will contain a pertinent Pokemon Cosplay that I’ve put together myself.

I wanted to bring focus and attention to the fact that Pokemon is turning 25 so I’ll be focusing on Pokemon who are #25 in the Pokedex as well as pokemon who evolve at level 25. I couldn’t resist sliding a gym leader in there for good measure, so here we are.

Are you doing any cosplays for pokemon? I’d love to see them. Can you believe the musical guests they chose for the 25th anniversary? I mean Katy Perry, I guess, but Post Malone?! I didn’t even know he was a pokemon fan, and I’m honestly not too sure how to feel about his animated self… I think it’s cool, but unsure about it all the same.

Our first cosplay is the mascot himself Pikachu! He is #25 on the Pokedex AND the mascot so of course, I had to choose him. With a Thunder Stone, he will evolve into Raichu. Since Sun and Moon has to be my favorite iteration of Pokemon yet, I decided to go with an Alolan Raichu.
