Hey gang!

Welcome to day 2 off Pokemon week! Today we are doing the evolution of the mascot, Pikachu! Pikachu is number 25 in the pokedex, and I thought to do an evolution would be fitting since he’s one of my favorites. However, theres a bit of a twist. Raichu evolves from Pikachu with a Thunder Stone, but I decided to cosplay my favorite regional form. The Alolan Raichu is my favorite, he’s even a tattoo, AND he can surf!

His curled ears and the fact that he can surf on his tail has really endeared him to me, along with the fact that he loved Pancakes, just like me!

I put the outfit together with rubber felt , for the tail and ears, and a bit of brown regular felt that I had left over from an eevee costume I put together for Halloween several years ago.

The body suit is from amazon, I love using bodysuits because they are so multifunctional, and they make great tops! We’ll be switching from electric to grass for the next two days! Do you have any favorite grass types?
