Hi! Hello! Welcome Back!
It’s been a long time since I’ve done a post like this, I kind of narrowed my focus to books and games and the lifestyle aspect of blogging kind of fell away. I spent a lot of money last year updating my camera gear, and it makes no sense to not show you the work I’ve been doing. So expect to see more lifestyle updates in the future!

Boy Wonder, his parents and I went to The Cincinnati Museum Center today to explore two of their newest exhibits! Barbie: A Culture Icon and Julia Child! I had an absolute blast, I was reading every section, looking at everything and marveling about all the things I didn’t know about Julia Child!

Practically the entire exhibit had blown up photos of Julia’s life and 90% of them were taken by her husband Paul. The last few years I had this silly idea that I wasn’t living in the moment enough and I needed to stop taking so many pictures, Thanks for convincing my otherwise Paul!

For Instance! Did you know that Julia Child was 6’2?! Did you know that she was part of the OSS; the Precursor to the CIA, AND that she had a recipe for Shark Repellent you could have made in your kitchen?! I sure didn’t! She went to College for writing and published a series of short stories as well!

I think my favorite part about the Barbie Exhibit was that they had these adorable life-size sets that you could take photos in! I think it did an amazing job of enveloping you in the world of Barbie. Instead of being a patron of the museum, you became a barbie living, and it was fun.

Barbie has always been ahead of the curve, showing girls they could be anything they wanted, but did you know she went to space before NASA? Did you know that she’s ran for President every Election since 1992?!

I had an absolute blast at the Museum, and it just makes me want to go to more of them. I think I make it to a few museums every year, but I want to explore more of them. My city has so many, and I feel like I’ve only really seen like 3 or 4 of them, for living here all my life; that’s pretty abysmal.
Do you have a favorite museum exhibit you’ve been to?
Until Next Time,
