Welcome Back!

It’s so nice to see you again! It’s been a little while hasn’t it? It’s August~! We’ve made it towards the end of the summer and heading into the spooky-ooky months~! Spooky time begins at The Inkbunnie Headquarters promptly on July 5th, but now its the first of August, and since this month is a light arc month, I thought it would be the ripe time for a readathon!

So the Summer Slash readathon goes from the 1st to the 31st! It has four prompts to help you choose your TBR, and I plan on adding a few things, like Scary Movie Watching, maybe some baking, I’m just fully ready to begin my spooky time ya know? I’ve planned out three vlogs for the month to talk about the reading, but who knows? I’ll just see where the month takes us.

Prompt One: Read a book that contains the Final Girl Trope: And Then There Were None Agatha Christie. Audio. 264 pages.

Prompt Two: Read a book with a female main character: The Library At Hellebore by Cassandra Khaw. Physical. 272 pages.

Prompt Three: Read a book with a Heavy Body Count: Decagon House Murders by Yukito Ayatsuji. Physical. 284 pages.

Prompt Four: Read a book that takes place at a summer camp: The Counselors by Jessica Goodman. Physical. 343 pages.

I have three arcs for the month of August: The Understudy, A Spell To Wake The Dead and Murder By The Book. I’d like to be able to finish my 4 prompts and at least one of my arcs.
