Hello There!

Welcome to a new year! We made it! 2026 has already started with a wild ride, but I refuse to make myself sick with worry about things that I can’t fix myself. Instead, I’ve been investing in myself.

Whenever I finish a novel, I put it in my book journal. It helps me remember what I liked and didn’t like about the books I read, since my YouTube channel is updated monthly and my memory isn’t the greatest (The stress will get ya, I tell ya what!) I used to do a post for Arcs only, but I’ve realized that books are being missed in the meantime, so this is what this category is for.

We’re two weeks into January, and I’ve put away 6 books. Instead of 6 posts that may not be up to snuff, I’ve decided to just show you what’s in my book journal. I’ll use this as a catch-all for books I may have missed. I’m pretty proud of myself as well, since half of the finished reads are Arcs! I feel that 2026 is off to a strong start, Arc-wise!

I can also talk about the new subsection I want to add to my YouTube channel! The Inkbunnie is a vlog all about my reading journey. What I’m reading, what I’m looking forward to reading, what I’m collecting, and so forth. I read a decent amount of children’s, middle grade, and graphic novels, but don’t really do anything with them outside of that! I thought it would be cute to round up all my thoughts on children’s books and turn them into cute, child-friendly shorts that they can watch on YouTube Kids.

I’m calling it Bunnnie’s Corner, and if you see a super clean Inkbunnie in the coming weeks, this is why. It will come back to all of my content, but the actual videos will be kid-specific, so they don’t run into anything that they shouldn’t. I’ve been designing my bunny for the last few weeks, and I’m so excited to unveil this soon!
