Hey there!!!
What better way to round out a not so great week with a horror anthology done by one the greats? I know I talk about Halloween a lot on my blog, not only my favorite holiday but my favorite scary movie series of all time!

Body Bags is a horror anthology film, directed and presented by John Carpenter in an adorably cheesy pathologist costume, as he complains about the night shift and how mundane the idea of natural cause death is and hopes to spice it up by finding the bodies that had a more unique cause of death.
The film contains 3 short films that explore different ideas. The first was honestly my favorite. The anthology is quintessential 90’s and just the right amount of cheese. The Gas Station, Hair and Eye. My favorite portions were The Morgue, with John Carpenter as he introduced the next segments, and The Gas Station.

Have you ever watched an anthology before? This was the first one I’ve enjoyed, usually, its one story that sticks out among the rest for me, since each section is usually written by a different person, I sometimes have difficulty following along the currents.
I definitely recommend the anthology but there’s definitely a few trigger warnings I wish I’d had going in. I’m not one for the creepy crawlers, and hair definitely gave me the skeevies. In the eye, there is rough sex, that isn’t alluded to until its too late, and it isn’t censored at all.

If you’ve seen Body Bags, lets talk about it on Twitter!
